Open house... Clive and Lyndsey's

This morning the class went to an open house exhibition. When we arrive i was in amazement of the sheer size of the house, it was so huge and the exterior looked creative in the bold sculptures that sat above the Victorian style front door. The house seemed like something from a horror film, haunted and cold. When we stepped in my expectations were in fact correct, there were animal remains, fossilized birds and traces of snakes skin, not to mention the leopard skin rug that also sat in the porch with skulls surrounding it. When we stepped further in there were more and more eccentric pieces presented on the walls, sides and ceilings. All of the work was extremely precious in the amount of thought, work and passion that it must of taken to create such bizarre work. However, although each and every piece wasn't to my taste, i have such admiration for the time and effort that it must have taken. The work was emotive and the extremities of the piece's were very thought provocative and quite shocking and in some times i was sickened as i approached work that involved death, such as the animals and various artwork. All in all i enjoyed it to a certain degree... :)
